Salome Henerico Samson

As a student, Salome’s future goal was to explore the complexities of Tanzania’s agricultural systems, especially the agroforestry industry, something she has been invested in since childhood. After she graduated from EARTH, Salome began working for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania as part of her fellowship in the Mastercard Foundation – EARTH University Fellowship Program. IITA is an institution that is making significant investment in research activities in efforts to increase food security and food safety, reduce rural poverty and undernutrition, and promote more sustainable management of natural resources.
