2050 Food Systems Vision

2050 Food Systems Vision

Global food systems are failing—exacerbating climate change, deepening food insecurity, and leaving millions in poverty and poor health. By 2050, the world must feed 10 billion people sustainably.

EARTH, a global University based in Costa Rica, has refined a highly effective and transformative educational model that equips young leaders with the mindset, skills, values and solutions to effect positive change. We feel compelled to find ways to dramatically scale the impact of this proven model to reach significantly more leaders who can effect change on the ground and transform global food systems.

Building a Global Movement of Leaders to Transform Food Systems

By 2050...

EARTH will have prepared and empowered a global movement of leaders to drive nature-positive food production and improved livelihoods across developing regions, together with many partners.

By 2050...

EARTH imagines global food systems that provide healthy food for all in ways that are positive for people and our planet.

We aspire to systems that leverage technology and innovative production models and that promote enhanced food awareness, diversity, and culture to provide greater resilience and dignified livelihoods.

EARTH invites individuals, organizations, and potential and current partners and donors to join us in growing this global movement of leaders who will create resilient, sustainable, and just food systems for all.
